Fostering a Maltese
Foster homes are the core of our rescue. MMR has no shelter or kennel,
so without foster homes we would not be able to rescue and provide a safe place for Maltese and Maltese Mixes to receive medical attention, training and lots of TLC while they wait for their forever home.
Fostering is a very important part of our organization, if you have recent dog ownership experience and a current relationship with a veterinarian, we welcome you to fill out a foster application.
One of our foster coordinators will contact you to discuss your application, provide details on our foster program and answer all of your questions about fostering with MMR .
If you are only interested in adopting please apply to adopt,
as it takes a lot of time and effort to get families setup to foster.
Volunteer
While not everyone is interesting in becoming a foster foster family, we have plenty of other ways you can help!
We are always looking for volunteers, especially for new ideas, thoughts and talents!
All the roles at MMR are filled by volunteers.
Please fill out our volunteer application and a volunteer coordinator will contact you to learn more about you, and how you can help MMR. You will also be added to our volunteer email list
(Please note: This is a low volume list, normally less than 10 messages each week,
used for announcements only, no discussion)
