Metropolitan Maltese Rescue is a nonprofit corporation 501(c)(3) dedicated to placing homeless Maltese and Maltese-mixes into loving, responsible, forever homes. We are an active partner of a no-kill community and we hope there will come a day where there are no more homeless animals.

Metropolitan Maltese Rescue is an all-volunteer organization founded in 1998 by a group of Maltese dog lovers in New York City who wanted to make a difference. Our dedicated volunteers are located in New York City and its surrounding suburbs.
