Munchie, a permanent MMR foster dog, left us in July 2022. Thanks to being under the MMR umbrella, Muchie reached the ripe doggie age of 16+ years!

MMR took in Carter when he was 9 years old, and he soon became a "permanent foster" due to a challenging temperament and medical issues. He passed in October 2021 with his loving foster family by his side.

Rudy was adopted through MMR in December 2007, and has sadly passed in March 2021. His family tells us Rudy was love, joy and happiness. He loved his life, was friendly with all animals and didn’t have a mean bone in his body.

Our MMR volunteer's dog, Bricin passed in his sleep in March 2022. Bricin had been adopted from MMR several years ago.

Dylan was found on the streets in the Bronx in 2008, and accepted into foster care by Metropolitan Maltese Rescue, He was quickly adopted into a loving home, and has sadly passed in March 2021.

At the age of 12, Tommi came to MMR in 2012 as an owner surrender. He had medical issues and was placed in a loving permanent foster home. Tommi has left us in January 2021. He was known to be a silly little guy and his foster family misses him dearly.
