The Village Puppies

MetroMalts is pleased to introduce it's very own rock 'n roll band, The Village Puppies!! They were given Special Mention at the Carl Schurz Park Association's Annual Dog Halloween Costume Contest on 10/24/99. But they won First Place in our hearts for helping to raise awareness of our rescue group. What crowd-pleasers they were as they walked out to the song "Macho Man"! They even have their own groupies, for goodness sake...

So here they are:
Top Row (l to r): Carrie's Babs, "The Cheerleader Groupie"; Isabel's Ahszie "The Sailor"; Joan's Lucca "The Biker"; Kathleen & Tricia's Alice "The Witch Groupie".

Bottom Row (l to r): Becky's Ellie "The Cowboy"; Josephine's CoCo "The Motorcycle Cop" and, last but definitely not least, Rosemarie's Teddy now known as "T. Bear Indian Chief".
