Comet, 8 years old, was surrendered to MMR by his owner because they were moving from a detached home to a townhouse and considered him to be too much of a "barker". His foster mom called him a real "gem". MMR was able to match Comet up with a family that turned out to be a perfect fit. |

Kipper
Kipper, a two year old stray found by police in Queens after, what they assumed was, being hit by a car as he could not use his back legs. MMR took him to get medical exams which determined that Kipper has a fracture in his back, an old injury, which has left him partially paralyzed. As it turned out Kipper was able to use his front legs very well so MMR fitted him for a canine "wheelchair" which he took to right away. This little boy melted his foster parent's hearts. They decided he has become one of their family and adopted him.

Rambo
Rambo, a 12-year-old owner surrender, belonged to his previous owner before her marriage and the birth of her children. Unfortunately, she could no longer care for Rambo. Thankfully he was up to date with his shots, healthy, and quickly adopted. Rambo is living on Long Island with his new family, where he will have a lovely yard and a Maltese playmate named Princess, who is 15 years old.

Twinkle
Twinkle, a six year old female, was a stray at the AC&C. She was a physical mess both hair and body-wise when she came to MMR, as well as being totally untrained for any bathroom habits. She is now clean and neat and healthy both inside and out and is a champion wee wee pad user. MMR made sure she received medical attention for numerous mammary tumors and spaying. She is living in the city with her new mom who thinks she is a star! |
Zipper
Zipper, a 2 year old boy, was given by his previous owners to a vet to be euthanized for behavior problems. Zipper was lucky in that the vet refused to euthanize him, and instead contacted MMR to take him in and evaluate his needs and find Zipper the perfect home. Knowing that Zipper had fear issues, his foster dad provided a calm and patient relationship, which allowed him to thrive and become the best companion he can be. MMR found a family that is the right fit for this little guy and had recently adopted another MMR dog, Josie. Both Zipper and Josie are happy with their new family. |
