Welcome to the
MetroMalts Millennium Party

Rosemarie Gordon, one of our Board members, decided that it was time to celebrate all our successes and hosted a wonderful MetroMalts Millennium Party for all of us and our rescues.  There were banners, balloons, people food, special treats for the dogs, and even party bags filled with toys and treats for every dog to take home.  So many of our rescues were there -- Cassy, Kirby, Ellie, Leo, Oscar, Budha and Taylor. 

It was a joy to see them all so happy and healthy.  And the prize for the greatest "Party Animals" has to go to Leo and Elliott (who happen to be Uncle and Nephew but had never met) who ran and played together with such abandon it was a special treat for everyone.  As if what Rosemarie had done wasn't enough, she also employed her considerable artistic talents to take several special portraits (of the dogs she could actually catch between treats and frolic).  Please go to Special Portraits  page to see some of these fabulous portraits.

Everyone who attended, dog and human alike, had such a wonderful day.  What a perfect way to ring in a new century and celebrate our friendships!  Thank you, Rosemarie, from the bottom of our hearts.
